Dr. Jones is an emergency physician with over 30 years of POCUS experience, currently teaching at Case Western Reserve University and MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio.

He founded multiple residency POCUS programs, created the Ohio ACEP ultrasound course, and served as ACEP Ultrasound Section Chair.

Dr. Jones lectures worldwide, has written numerous POCUS articles and chapters, co-chairs system-wide POCUS at MetroHealth, and leads the living anatomy/ultrasound program for pre-clerkship students.

Cristin Mount

Dr. Mount is a POCUS-fellowship trained intensivist in Tacoma, Washington, and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University.

She honed her expertise in education and curriculum development as core faculty for Madigan Army Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency and as ICU Clinical Education Director.

After retiring from the US Army in 2023, she joined the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Ultrasound Course Committee and now teaches their Adult Ultrasound Course. Her special interest lies in leveraging POCUS in resource-limited and austere environments.
