Eduardo Argaiz

MD, PhD

Dr. Eduardo R. Argaiz is a nephrologist based in Mexico City, a National Researcher with the Mexican National Institutes of Health, and a Professor of Medicine at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey. He also serves on the board of the Mexican Society of Echocardiography.

Dr. Argaiz is internationally recognized for his expertise in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), particularly in the application of Doppler-based protocols like VExUS. He's delivered national and international lectures on POCUS in critical care and nephrology, and has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, including influential work on venous congestion assessment.
